Banerjee emphasized that all efforts would be made under the unified banner of I.N.D.I.A to “save the country from disaster.”

She accused the ruling party of selling India and attempting to undermine democracy, stating that they do not allow individual states to function independently. Banerjee also highlighted the interference of investigative agencies such as the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in their affairs.

She declared with conviction, “India will win, BJP will lose,” encapsulating the alliance’s determination to secure victory in the upcoming elections.

However, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge lashed out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying that the PM got afraid of the giant 26 party meeting following which he is calling out every NDA ally across the country.

Over the BJP claim of 38 parties attending the NDA meet, Kharge also said that they does not even know that these much parties even exist in India, or are they even registered or not.

He also said that the Congress is not interested in power or the post of Prime Minister instead the grand old party’s motive is to save constitution, democracy and the people of the country.

“I had already told in Chennai on Stalin’s birthday that Congress is not interested in power or the post of Prime Minister. Our intention in this meeting is not to gain power for ourselves. It is to protect our constitution, democracy, secularism and social justice,” Kharge said in meeting, ANI quoted sources as saying.

“The people of the country are suffering due to high inflation, unemployment. apart from this, the rights of the underprivileged section of the society including rights of the poor, Dalits, tribals and minorities are being crushed in the tenure of the NDA led BJP government,” Kharge asserted, while addressing the opposition meeting.
