New Delhi: In a major boost to thousands of people dreaming to buy a home in the national capital, the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has now decided to launch three housing schemes on the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan on August 19
One of the key highlights of these soon-to-be launched housing schemes is that even those coming under the low-income category will be able to purchase a home for just Rs 11.50 lakh. Across these three housing schemes, the DDA will offer a total of 15,000 flats.
According to the reports, the flats will be available for sale in three different categories: the lower, middle and the premium segments.
The Delhi Development Authority, which gave a go-ahead to these three housing schemes last week, will allocate the flats on a ‘first come, first served’ basis under two of these schemes. However, there will be an e-auction in the third scheme.
‘DDA Sasta Ghar’ Housing Scheme
Under the first scheme that is – the ‘DDA Sasta Ghar Housing Scheme’ –flats will be offered for the LIG and EWS segments. In this category, the prices of the flats will start from Rs 11.50 lakh. These flats will be located in Ramgarh Colony, Siraspur, Rohini, Loknayak Puram, and Narela in Delhi.

DDA Flats For Middle-Class Families
Under the second housing scheme, the DDA will offer flats for the middle-class families. In this scheme, DDA will build HIGs, MIGs, LIGs, and EWS flats which will be located in Jasola, Loknayakpuram, and Narela. According to the DDA officials, the prices of these flats will begin from Rs 29 lakh.
DDA Offers High-End Flats Through E-Auction
Under the third housing scheme, the DDA will allot flats through an e-auction. Bidders for these flats will be required to place bids to apply. Under this category the DDA will build MIG, HIG, and high-end flats in various sectors of Dwarka, including sectors 14, 16B, and 19B. In this segment, the reserve price for these flats has been kept at Rs 1.28 crore by the DDA.
