New Delhi: Curtain Raiser on ‘Build India with Vaibhav Dange,’ Discovery Channel’s new documentary series was launched in New Delhi by Union Minister for I&B, Youth Affairs and Sports, Anurag Thakur, Bhagwanth Khuba, Minister of state, Ministry of New & Renewable Energy, New Delhi and Dr. Bhagwat Kishanrao Karad, Minister of State, Ministry of Finance, in the august presence in New Delhi. A12 part docu-series, it chronicles incredible technology & execution methods behind India’s man-made marvels.
The will bring life stories behind New India’s successful efforts to build world class connectivity in the form of roads, tunnels, ports, etc. From the challenging Zojila tunnel to the bridge on Chenab river and from Mumbai’s trans-harbour link and metro to the
Chenani-Nashri tunnel – it tells the stories behind all major projects that have contributed to nation-building.
The episodes follow a magazine-style format which introduces viewers to the process behind how each project was planned and executed. And brings to life the experiences and challenges faced by individuals and experts working on the field through in-depth interviews.
It will not only showcase the decision-making that has gone into the country’s most ambitious projects but also explains their importance for India’s economy and security.
