Budget Session 2023: The budget session of the Parliament will begin on Monday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to the media ahead of Budget session. He added that the focus is always on ‘India First and Citizens First’.
He said, “the world is eying on India’s Budget session today”. He further said that president Draupadi Murmu would address the budget session and it would be matter of pride for women.
PM Modi said that the focus of the government has always been ‘India First, Citizens First’.
He stated that at the start of the session, credible voices from the economic world delivered a positive message, a ray of hope, and a spark of enthusiasm. (Budget Session 2023)

“Budget Session begins today and at the beginning itself, credible voices from the world of economy, have brought in a positive message, a ray of hope and a beginning of enthusiasm. Today is important, President will address the joint session of the Parliament for the first time,” the PM said quoted ANI.
He said, “Amid the unstable global economic situation, India’s budget will attempt to meet the hopes and aspirations of the common citizens, the ray of hope being seen by the world glows brighter-for this, I firmly believe that Nirmala Sitharaman will make all efforts to meet those aspirations.”
Lauding the women’s power, the Prime Minister said, “Our Finance Minister is a woman too. She will present one more budget before the country tomorrow. In today’s global circumstances, not only India but the entire world is looking at India’s budget.”

The budget session will last 27 sittings until April 6, with a month-long recess to examine the budget papers in between. The first section of the session will end on February 13. The second part of the Budget Session will begin on March 12 and will conclude on April 6.
