BSF Says 413 Pakistani Drones Shot Down During Operation Sindoor In Rajasthan Frontier

Garg said the Pakistani Army and Rangers are still present at a distance from the international border, and the BSF personnel are closely monitoring the situation. He said the BSF is fully prepared to counter any threat from Pakistan.

The Rajasthan Frontier of Border Security Force (BSF) on Monday said the forces shot down 413 drones during Operation Sindoor along the International Border. BSF’s Inspector General, ML Garg, confirmed that 413 drones were shot from Pakistan in sectors along the international border of Rajasthan. The drone activities were witnessed in Shri Ganganagar, Bikaner, Jaisalmer North, and Jaisalmer South.

Garg said that Pakistani forces were targeting Phalodi Air Base, but the Indian Armed forces neutralised all Pakistani drones and Chinese missiles during the four-day fight. Garg said border villages in Pakistan were vacated, but no village was vacated on the Indian side. 

Garg said the Pakistani Army and Rangers are still present at a distance from the international border, and the BSF personnel are closely monitoring the situation. He said the BSF is fully prepared to counter any threat from Pakistan. 

The BSF IG said that strong coordination was established between the Indian Army, Air Force and BSF during Operation Sindoor, which ensured that no casualties occurred in the Rajasthan border areas. 

Punjab BSF recovers 567 grams of heroin

In a targeted operation based on intelligence inputs, Border Security Force (BSF) troops recovered a packet of suspected heroin weighing approximately 567 grams near the India-Pakistan border in Amritsar district on Saturday.

According to a press release issued by the Public Relations Officer of the Punjab Frontier, BSF, the search operation was launched in a suspected area near the village Mahawa. During the search, troops recovered one packet of suspected heroin weighing approximately 567 grams.

The packet was wrapped in yellow adhesive tape and had an improvised metal wire loop and an illuminating strip attached.
