Police stated today that an 18-year-old woman was allegedly drugged by two males who were her pals on social media and then gangraped in the nation’s capital. According to the police, they were taken into custody on Thursday, February 1, from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. On the basis of a complaint that was filed on Wednesday, January 31, at the Ambedkar Nagar police station in Delhi.

When Did The Incident Occur?
The incident happened on Monday, January 29, in the South Delhi district, according to the formal complaint filed in the case. The victim went to the police and filed a complaint against the two people on Wednesday, according to officials, who also stated that the FIR was filed on the same day.
According to the police, the woman filed a complaint alleging that on Monday at 1:00 pm, she received a call from the men near a Madangir signalized crossroads. She said that she denied their request to sit on their scooter. Police added that she consented to travel with the men after they threatened her with severe penalties, citing her complaint.
What Happened With The Girl?
After taking her to Malviya Nagar, the men fed her. The complaint stated that she felt lightheaded after eating the dish and that it was tainted with narcotics. The woman claimed that upon regaining consciousness, she realized that she had been sexually abused.
According to police, the accused, who are 19 and 21 years old, were taken into custody on the basis of sections 376-D (gang rape), 506 (criminal intimidation), and 34 (common intention) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
