In a tragic incident, two Indian Air Force (IAF) pilots were killed in action when their Pilatus trainer aircraft crashed at during training at Air Force Academy, Dindigul in Telangana, informed officials on Monday.
However, he also said that an inquiry has been ordered to ascertain the cause of the accident.

“During a routine training sortie from AFA, Hyderabad, a Pilatus PC 7 Mk II aircraft encountered an accident today morning. The Indian Air Force sadly confirms the fatalities of both pilots aboard. No reports of damage to civilian life or property have been disclosed. A Court of Inquiry has been initiated by the Indian Air Force to determine the accident’s cause,” he said.
