New Delhi: Former Uttar Pradesh chief minister and Samajwadi party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav died on Monday at around 8:30 am at Gurugram’s Medanta Hospital.
The 82-year-old was undergoing treatment at Medanta hospital since last week.
His condition had been “quite critical” for the past few weeks and he was on life-saving drugs.

Born on November 22, 1939, in Saifai village of Uttar Pradesh’s Etawah district, the Samajwadi Party founder was a three-time Uttar Pradesh chief minister.
Mulayam Singh Yadav was elected to the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly for the first time in 1967.
