Rekha Gupta has been named the new Chief Minister of Delhi by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)

The BJP has selected Rekha Gupta as the new Chief Minister of Delhi. Rekha Gupta will take the oath as the Chief Minister of New Delhi on Thursday, February 20, 2025.

Delhi held its Assembly election on February 5, 2025 and the results were announced on February 8, 2025. The ceremony organizers are working diligently to prepare Ramlila Maidan for the upcoming swearing-in event. After being out of power in Delhi for 27 years, the BJP has achieved a major victory by returning to power.

As reported by ANI, “Swearing-in ceremony of the Chief Minister and new cabinet of Delhi will be held at Ramlila Maidan tomorrow, 20th Feb. The ceremony will begin at 11 am. Lt Governor VK Saxena will administer the oath to office to CM-designate and the cabinet at 12.35 pm. PM Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Ministers and NDA Chief Ministers-Deputy CMs will witness the ceremony.”
