NEW DELHI: Mulayam Singh Yadav, who was a political clout in both Uttar Pradesh and the rest of the nation, breathed his last on Monday morning at Gurugram’s Medanta Hospital, according to the sources.
He was 82-year-old. The hospital officials had informed the family members regarding the deteriorating condition of the Mulayam Singh. At the time of death many members of his family, including his son Akhilesh Yadav, were present at the Gurugram’s Medanta Hospital.

There was a wave of mourning across the country as soon as the news of Mulayam Singh’s death came. After the news, hundreds of party workers and other family members also reached the hospital.
Mulayam was hospitalized for a week
82-year-old Mulayam Singh Yadav, who was playing the role of the founder and patron of the Samajwadi Party, had been admitted to Medanta Hospital in Gurugram for breathing problem around a week before. According to the doctors, his condition was critical.
Besides these, more health problems were came into fore like kidney ailment. His health news was updated daily by the hospital management. The doctors told that he was on life saving drugs for a few days.

When Mulayam Singh Yadav’s condition suddenly worsened, many family members including his son and SP chief Akhilesh Yadav and Mulayam’s cousin Ram Gopal were present in the hospital. At the same time, a large number of party workers have also gathered outside the hospital.
