An FIR has been registered against BJP leader and National In-Charge of the party’s IT Cell, Amit Malviya, at Narendrapur Police Station under Baruipur jurisdiction. The FIR alleges that his social media post threatened communal harmony and India’s sovereignty.

Breaking News LIVE: Electoral draft for Tamil Nadu

The Election Commission of India on Friday published the draft electoral roll for Tamil Nadu after receiving 5,43,76,755 voter enumeration forms from across the state. As part of the revision process, 97,37,831 names were removed from the rolls due to reasons such as death, relocation or long-term absence from residence, and duplicate registrations at multiple locations.
