New Delhi: There are at least 11 people are feared dead, including one minor, after a bus caught fire in Maharashtra’s Nashik on Friday night, according to police.
Twenty one People are critically injured. They were taken to the nearby hospital, police said.
“We are trying to know the reason of fire and ascertain the exact number of deaths with the doctor’s confirmation,” Nashik Police said.
Dada Bhuse, Guardian Minister of Nashik confimed to ANI that 10 people had died in the bus fire accident, while 21 were injured. They are undergoing treatment at a government hospital in the city. The government will bear the medical expenses of the injured, he said.

“Also, Maharashtra CM Shinde has expressed deep condolence over the unfortunate incident and announced an ex-gratia of Rs 5 lakhs to each the kin of those who died in this unfortunate incident. I am also going to the spot to assess the situation,” added Bhuse, as quoted by news agency ANI.
