Breaking! IRCTC server down, no booking due to technical issue
New Delhi: Ticketing services at the IRCTC abrupted on Tuesday due to glitch in the technical system. Authorities have started the operation to fix the issue that took place during the peak hours.
A notification will be sent once the problem is fixed, as per the IRCTC. After which, people will be able to place their bookings through the website itself. The ticket serves informed through Twitter.
Alternative of IRCTC to Book Train Ticket?
However, the Indian Railways have informed that those trying to book tickets can use other B2C players like Amazin, Moneytrip and others.
Trouble to Travellers
The bookings went down at the peak hours that too on the second of the week. This causes immene trouble to travellers who uses IRCTC's official website to book their tickets. More than 15 lakh tickets are booked everyday. Of which, nearly 80% tickets are booked via IRCTC.
As per the schedule, bookings for AC class (2A/3A/CC/EC/3E) starts at 10.00 am, while for Non- AC class (SL/FC/2S), the time is 11.00 am.
