Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal was released from jail on Friday evening after the Supreme Court granted him bail in the Delhi excise policy scam. Amid heavy rainfall, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders and workers greeted the Party’s Supremo with grand celebrations outside Tihar Jail in Delhi.

Kejriwal Addresses Party Workers Outside Tihar Jail
After walking out of the jail, Kejriwal addressed the people, stating “First and foremost, I want to thank God with whose blessings I stand before you.” He further expressed gratitude to the lakhs and crores of people who came to meet him, amid the heavy rainfall.
While addressing the party workers, Kejriwal noted, “My life is dedicated to the country. Every moment of my life, each ounce of blood is devoted to India. I have endured many difficulties and faced a lot of hardships, but God has guided me at each step because I remained sincere and honest.”
AAP Workers Celebrate Kejriwal’s Release
AAP workers bursted fire-crackers outside Tihar Jail in Delhi, followed by dance and other celebrations. Before Kejriwal’s release, AAP leaders, including Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, former Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, and MP Sanjay Singh, were waiting outside the jail to welcome him.
The Supreme Court granted bail to the AAP’s Chief today in the Delhi excise policy case.
