According to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), “VSR Ventures Learjet 45 aircraft VT-DBL operating flight from Visakhapatnam to Mumbai was involved in runway excursion (veer off) while landing on runway 27 at Mumbai airport. There were 6 passengers and 2 crew members on board. Visibility was 700m with heavy rain. No casualties reported as of now.”

“However, the VSR Ventures Learjet 45 aircraft with registration VT-DBL, operating a flight from Visakhapatnam to Mumbai, experienced a runway excursion while attempting to land on runway 27 at Mumbai airport. The incident occurred in adverse weather conditions, with visibility reduced to 700 meters due to heavy rain. The aircraft had a total of 6 passengers and 2 crew members on board. Fortunately, there have been no reported casualties at this time,” DGCA stated.
