ICICI Bank-Videocon Loan Fraud Case: On Monday, the Bombay High Court approved the release of former ICICI Bank CEO Chanda Kochhar and her husband Deepak Kochhar from the CBI’s judicial custody.

“The arrest is not in compliance with the law,” the judge stated. The pair was freed from judicial detention on a Rs one lakh bail.

The Bombay High Court postponed its decision on Friday on the petitions filed by former ICICI Bank Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Chanda Kochhar and her husband Deepak Kochhar over alleged wrongful arrest. Explain that Kochhar was detained on December 25 in connection with the Videocon-ICICI Bank debt scandal.

According to news agency ANI, the Bombay High Court on Monday granted the release of former ICICI CEO Chanda Kochhar and her husband Deepak from judicial detention in the ICICI Bank-Videocon loan fraud case. The court ruled that the arrest was “not in compliance with the law,” according to ANI.
