On Tuesday morning, an IndiGo plane made an emergency landing after a bomb was reported on a flight from Delhi to Varanasi. The incident occurred around 5:30 AM, causing panic among passengers and crew. Passengers were hurriedly evacuated through the emergency gate, and the plane was moved to the isolation bay for investigation.

An airport official informed ANI that aviation security and a bomb disposal team are currently at the scene, ensuring all passengers are safe. The dog squad and bomb squad thoroughly searched every part of the plane and checked all passengers’ luggage, but found nothing suspicious. Meanwhile, airport officials have filed a written complaint with the police, requesting an investigation to identify the person who reported the bomb.

According to received information, an IndiGo flight took off from IGI Airport Delhi at around 5:15 AM. Shortly after takeoff, the crew discovered a paper in the toilet with a bomb threat written on it, causing panic among the crew and passengers. ATC and airport officials promptly arranged for an emergency landing.

Upon landing, security personnel, firefighters, and ambulances arrived at the runway. Passengers were evacuated through the emergency gate and moved to a safe zone. Subsequently, the bomb squad and dog squad conducted a thorough search of the plane. Top officials from the Delhi Police Department also arrived at the scene to assess the situation.

Earlier this month, more than 150 private schools in Delhi received bomb threats. Major institutions like Delhi Airport and Safdarjung Hospital have also faced similar threats multiple times. Although searches have not revealed anything suspicious, these threats create panic and spread terror among the public. The police department has not yet identified those responsible for the threats but remains constantly on alert due to their recurrence.
