A bomb threat note discovered aboard a Vistara flight originating from Paris sent Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport into a state of full emergency on Tuesday. The alarming incident unfolded as the flight, carrying passengers from Charles de Gaulle Airport, was preparing to land in Mumbai.
Upon receiving the ominous note, authorities swiftly mobilized, initiating stringent security measures. The flight, Vistara flight UK 975, was promptly isolated on the tarmac as a precautionary measure. Passengers and crew were evacuated, and an extensive search operation commenced to ensure the safety of all on board.
The Mumbai Police’s Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) was promptly deployed to thoroughly inspect the aircraft for any potential threats. Meanwhile, airport security personnel coordinated with airline officials to manage the situation efficiently and reassure stranded passengers.
