A tense and alarming situation unfolded early this morning when a bomb threat targeted the residence of renowned Tamil actor and Tamila Vetti Kazhagam (TVK) president, Vijay. At approximately 5:20 AM, the Chennai Police Control Room received a call claiming a bomb was concealed at Vijay’s home, prompting swift action with three bomb disposal experts and a sniffer dog dispatched to the scene.
Bomb squad cordoned off the area and started a thorough investigation. After about an hour of investigation, the bomb disposal team clarified that there was no explosive material present there. The officials termed the threat as false and returned from there after completing all the security procedures.
