On Monday, the BJP IT cell chief, Amit Malviya, sued Sanatanu Sinha for Rs 10 crore over defamation, following allegations by an RSS member that Malviya had engaged in sexual exploitation of women. Malviya demanded the removal of Sinha’s “false and derogatory” social media post.

“The allegations falsely accuse my client of sexual misconduct, severely offending and tarnishing his dignity and reputation. Given his status as a public figure, such accusations are particularly harmful.” Said Malviya’s lawyer.
