BJP Unveils First Candidate List For Jharkhand, Champai Soren To Contest From Saraikela

The elections for the 81-member Jharkhand Assembly will be held in two phases, on November 13 and 20

The Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced its first set of candidates for the upcoming Jharkhand Assembly elections. Key candidates include Babulal Marandi, who will be contesting from the Dhanwar seat, and Champai Soren, representing Saraikella.

Key BJP Candidates in Jharkhand

Among the notable names in the list, Sita Soren has been fielded from Jamtara, Neera Yadav from Kodarma, and Muniya Devi from Gandey. Other candidates include Tara Devi in Sindri, Apnarna Sengupta in Nirsa, Ragini Singh in Jharia, Geeta Balmuchu in Chaibasa, and Pushpa Devi Bhuiyan from Chhatarpur.

Jharkhand Assembly Election Schedule

The elections for the 81-member Jharkhand Assembly will be held in two phases, on November 13 and 20. The vote counting is scheduled for November 23.

NDA Seat-Sharing Formula

The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has announced its seat-sharing arrangement. The BJP will contest 68 seats, the All Jharkhand Students Union (AJSU) will contest 10 seats, the Janata Dal (United) will contest two seats, and Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) will contest one seat.
