Jammu and Kashmir: Days ahead of the assembly elections that are set to take place in September and October in Jammu and Kashmir, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday released the BJP manifesto ‘Sankalp Patra’ for the Union Territory.
‘Article 370 is history’
Speaking on the occasion, Union Home Minister Amit Shah roared in Kashmir and said, “Article 370 has become history now, it won’t be implemented again. It was Article 370 that forced the ordinary Kashmiri youth to become stone pelters.”
While releasing the BJP manifesto, Shah made it crystal clear that the BJP govt will not roll back the scrapping of Article 370 under any circumstances.

Driving his point home, the BJP veteran stated that the investment received by Jammu and Kashmir in the last ten years is thrice that of what it received in the past 70 years.
Dozen development projects in Sankalp Patra
While releasing the manifesto in Kashmir that the saffron brigade calls ‘Sankalp Patra’, the home minister promised more than a dozen development projects for the growth and development of the Valley. In the manifesto, the BJP assures of presenting a White Paper to demolish terrorism once and for all from the Valley.
The party in its manifesto mentions home and a piece of land to people belonging to the below-poverty line class, under Atal Awaas Yojana. The ‘Sankalp Patra’ also assures the construction of special economic zones, IT hubs, amusement parks in Srinagar, the development of Dal Lake at a world-class level and redevelopment of all the river fronts to promote Jammu and Kashmir as work and tourism hotspots.

Amit Shah appealed to the people of Jammu and Kashmir to vote for the BJP and give the party five years to the BJP under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi to serve the people of Jammu and Kashmir and to redevelop it in all aspects.
