New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party president JP Nadda will visit flood-affected areas in Himachal Pradesh on July 14. He will take stock of the situation caused by the heavy rains.
According to information, Nadda will visit flood-affected areas in Mandi and Kullu. Former State’s Chief Minister Jairam Thakur and Himachal BJP president Rajeev Bindal will accompany him.
The continuous torrential rain caused massive loss to the Himalayan state. According to government sources, 31 people died, 40 bridges were damaged, and more than 1300 roads are closed.

Meanwhile, On Thursday, at 1 pm, the water level in Yamuna recorded was 208.62 meters due to the continued release of water from the Hathnikund barrage in Haryana into the river. The current water level is three meters above the danger mark.
Due to the rising water level of the Yamuna River, several parts of the national capital submerged including Monastery Market, Yamuna Bazar, Garhi Mandu, Geeta Ghat, Vishwakarma Colony, Khadda Colony, areas around Neeli Chhatri Temple near the old railway bridge, Neem Karoli Gaushala and ring road from Wazirabad to Majnu Ka Tila.
