In the Madiaon area of Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh, there has been an attempted kidnapping of a BJP leader’s daughter. She was returning from school when the kidnappers followed her, saying that her father called. The girl refused and went back home safely. The whole incident was narrated at home, after which it came to light. Police have registered a case and begun an investigation.

The BJP leader’s daughter, Vimlesh Kumar, was on her way back home from school. The kidnapper followed her for about 10 minutes. While following, the suspect approached the girl. One of the suspects said, “Come with me, your father has called you,” but the girl refused.

On the recent Tuesday when school ended, the girl started her walk back home. Along the way, she encountered two unfamiliar individuals on a motorcycle who informed her that her father had summoned her, but she declined to accompany them.

They continuously asked the girl to go with them, but she refused. The girl said that her mother had warned her not to go with any person or eat anything from them. The suspects continued harassing her until she entered a crowded area and they fled.

When she reached home, the girl narrated everything and asked her father the reason for calling her. Vimlesh said that he did not send anyone. Hearing the story of his daughter, Vimlesh was shocked.

CCTV Footage 

After this, the regional minister of BJP, Vimlesh Kumar, became suspicious and started scanning the CCTV footage. In it, people spotted two motorcycle riders following the girl. Vimlesh reached the Madiaon police station and told them all about it. The police registered a case, considering the seriousness of the matter.

DCP Abhijit R Shankar said that Vimlesh Kumar filed a written complaint at Madiaon police station, mentioning that on July 16, his daughter was returning from school when two unknown guys came on a motorcycle and said to her, “Your father is calling you, come with us.” The girl refused and went home. The police has registered an FIR and initiated an investigation.
