Said the Congress leader Gogoi: “BJP government has exposed itself by adjourning four days in advance. They blame us that because of Congress there is no discussion in House. We could have raised issues in this week, passed Bills, but they ran away.”

“There were many issues we wanted to raise in Parliament. We wanted to demand answers on Agnipath, how it will enhance the problem of unemployment. But our demands were rejected,” he added.

Meanwhile, Senior Congress leader mentioned that only one issue was discussed in the entire Monsoon session meanwhile, the grand-old party had listed nearly 13 issues for debate.

“On July 17 we raised 13 issues on which we wanted debate. We were hoping 6-7 will be taken up. Only one issue was discussed, after two weeks and due to Opposition’s pressure,” he said.
