Jharkhand Foundation Day: Today marks the 22nd anniversary of Jharkhand’s founding. Every year on November 15, Bhagwan Birsa Munda’s birth anniversary is commemorated. On this day in the year 2000, Jharkhand state was also formed. On this occasion, numerous colourful programmes will be organised.
President Draupadi Murmu visited Ranchi on this occasion and paid tribute to Birsa Munda. At the same time, Prime Minister Modi paid tribute to Birsa Munda via Twitter.
In addition, on Birsa Munda’s birth anniversary, CM Soren will present projects worth crores of rupees to the people of Jharkhand.
Prime Minister Modi pays tribute to Bhagwan Birsa Munda
On Tribal Pride Day, Prime Minister Modi said, “Hundreds of salutations are extended to Bhagwan Birsa Munda ji.”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that Lord Birsa Munda was not only a hero of our political freedom, but also the conductor of our spiritual and cultural energy.
“Today, the country is working to realise the dreams of millions of tribal heroes, including Bhagwan Birsa Munda.”
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi pays tribute on Birsa Munda Jayanti
By tweeting on Jharkhand’s foundation day and Birsa Munda Jayanti, Congress leader and former party president, Rahul Gandhi, who is leading ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra,’ tweeted and paid tribute to Bhagwan Birsa Munda.
“Tributes to the great freedom fighter and revered leader of the tribal community, Dharti Aaba, Bhagwan Birsa Munda ji on his birth anniversary. His struggle and the spirit of always raising the voice of the right will always inspire all of us,” he wrote.

Inauguration, laying of foundation stones for projects worth crores
On the occasion of Foundation Day, CM Soren will present to the people of the state projects worth Rs. 7,319 crores. He will also unveil a slew of new initiatives at the state’s main function in Morhabadi.
The Chief Minister will lay the groundwork for 147 schemes totaling 5443 crores and will inaugurate 222 schemes totaling 1876 crores.
In addition, assets worth two thousand crores will be distributed to the beneficiaries.
