Bihar: A nursing home owner in Bihar’s Saran district has been arrested by police for allegedly severing her lover’s private parts and flushing them down a toilet. This extreme step was taken by her after the man refused her marriage proposal.
Abhilasha, who operated a nursing home in Madhaura, Bihar had been in a long-standing relationship with Vedprakash, a ward councillor at the same facility.
She stated that she and Vedprakash were physically involved during this time, resulting in her pregnancy. She accused him of deceiving her with promises of marriage.
Abhilasha stated that she had applied mehendi on her hands and alleged that Vedprakash proposed a court marriage. When he declined, she cut off his genitals with a knife and disposed of them in a toilet.

Subsequently, police apprehended the woman and retrieved the knife utilized in the incident. She expressed no remorse for the severe assault on her lover, who remains in serious condition at Patna Medical College.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Saran Kumar Ashish stated that the woman was distressed due to her partner’s repeated refusal to marry her, despite the wedding date being set seven to eight times.
He mentioned that a woman who operates a private medical center had been involved in a long-term relationship with the boy. They had attempted to fix their wedding date seven to eight times, but it never materialized. Distraught over this, the woman reportedly called the young man and severed his genitals.

‘On receiving prompt information, the police arranged for the man’s treatment. The woman found with a knife, was subsequently arrested. Further measures are underway, including an investigation into the registration status of her nursing home,’ stated the SSP.
