BJP leader Shahzad Poonawala said that this is reverse Robinhood. Robinhood used to rob the rich and give money to the poor, but in reverse Robinhood, a family involved in corruption robs the poor, acquires their lands and lines their pockets, a scam of Rs 600 crores.
Grand Alliance
In the charge sheet case filed against Lalu Yadav and his family, JDU national president Lalan Singh said that we knew this would happen. It started when the Grand Alliance was formed again in August 2022 and we became a part of it. It is surprising that five days ago the PM said that NCP leaders are involved in a Rs 70,000 crore scam, now they are joining the Maharashtra cabinet.
Lalan Singh said that when Tejashwi Yadav is joining the Grand Alliance, a charge sheet is being filed against him in the case which was twice investigated by the CBI and rejected. Everyone knows what the Center is doing. The public is watching everything.
At the same time, senior JDU leader KC Tyagi said that the charge sheet has been filed keeping in mind the unity of the opposition, its timing is worth noting. He said that such misuse of investigative agencies had never happened before.
Bihar’s Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav and his family, along with many others, have also been made accused in the charge sheet. In this case, on May 18, the ED had questioned former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi. Rabri Devi was also questioned by the CBI in this case. He had recorded his statement under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) in this case. In this case, ED has already questioned Tejashwi Yadav and Misa Bharti.
