With the rise of technology, the scammers are also getting updated and using these to fool people. A shocking case of cyber fraud from Bihar has emerged.
Police has arrested three fraudsters in this case. These people used to get money from Rs 500- Rs 20,000 from women who don’t have children. They used to lure these woman to get them pregnant with their technique.
As per media reports, they attracted people by offering Rs 10 lakh for making the women pregnant, said police. Apart from this they offered them to get Rs 50,000 to 5 lakh if they fail to do that.
As quoted by NDTV, DSP Imran Pervez stated that, “Three people have been arrested. They provide ‘All India Pregnant Job Service’ and also run a ‘Playboy Service’. Their MO (Modus Operandi) is that they put advertisements on Facebook. After that many people call them. In the name of registration, these people ask for prospective customers’ PAN Card, Aadhaar card, selfie. They then collect money from the people who fall into the trap of this temptation in the name of registration and booking hotels.”
The cyber fraudsters had opened All India Pregnant Job services. Using this they used to get connected to the people and do fraud with them.
The accused are identified as Prince Raj alias Pankaj Kumar, Bhola Kumar and Rahul Kumar.
Police have recovered several cell phone from the accused. They got the transaction records from the cell phones. FID has been filed against them under various sections.
