Bihar: Police arrests man for tampering with PM Modi, CM Yogi’s Aadhaar card

Patna: Gujarat Police on Wednesday arrested a person allegedly tampering with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s Aadhaar cards from Bihar’s Muzaffarpur.

As per reports, Arpana Dubey alias Madan Kumar has been arrested from district Sadatpur area.

Muzaffarpur’s Senior Superintendent of Police Rakesh Kumar said that the accused belonged to Gariba Gaon village. He was doing his graduation from a college in Sadatpur locality in the Kanti Police station area.

The team of Gujarat police was assisted by local police and informed the SSP.

The SSP said that the accused allegedly made many attempts to tamper with Aadahaar cards on Website. the IP address to the same was traced to him. 

The accused had changed the dates of birth of the two leaders, and misused the tampered cards, the SSP informed further. 

The Gujarat police have taken Arpana with them for further investigation.
