Election Commission’s Directive
The Election Commission had directed that anganwadi workers be deployed at all polling booths to verify the identity of burqa-clad women. It stated that the guidelines on voter identification inside polling stations were clear and would be strictly followed. The CM’s remark came during a rally in Danapur near Patna in support of the BJP.

While addressing the attendees, he also said that the opposition had been making a big fuss over the Electronic Voting Machines because they wanted to restore the old system of ballot papers, which facilitated booth capture.
Yogi also highlighted the cultural connection between Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. He said that after the construction of the Ram Mandir, the birthplace of Goddess Sita will soon be resurrected. Beyond that, he added that they are also working on improving the connectivity between the two places.
Referring to his eminent image of taking action against lawbreakers, Yogi called the mafia in Uttar Pradesh partners of the RJD and stated that under NDA rule, they will soon meet the same fate in Bihar. Yogi further said that the Damanvadi party, a part of the INDIA bloc along with Congress and RJD, had also ignored Jayaprakash Narayan’s legacy.
He said, "Who does not know about Bihar's jungle raj and dynastic politics from 1990 to 2005. You must have seen who those people were who turned Bihar's spiritual land of knowledge into a land of dynastic politics and crime, creating an identity crisis for our youth." "How anarchy was spread here in the name of development is not hidden from anyone.
Amid the identity crisis faced by the youth in Bihar, people who wanted to do something for the State migrated," he said. Polling in Bihar will be held in two phases, on November 6 and 11, for all 243 Assembly seats. The counting of votes is scheduled for November 14. The last date for filing nominations for the first phase is October 17, and for the second phase, it is October 20.
The fervent speech was targeted towards the opposition parties and tried to highlight the actions that have been taken in the past against the EC actions- (with Inputs from ANI)
