A live video of a CRPF personnel conducting a vehicle inspection being attacked by an inspector who was travelling in the vehicle being checked has taken the internet by storm.
During the inspection in Hajipur, Bihar, a scuffle broke out between the police and the inspector’s family travelling in the car. The clash led to CRPF personnel beating up the inspector’s family, and the situation quickly escalated into a major confrontation.
Police personnel tried to pacify the situation and separate both parties. However, when the situation got out of control, the CRPF jawans resorted to a lathi charge. A short clip of the scuffle has since gone viral on social media, where the attack on the inspector’s family is clearly visible.
Following the incident, the magistrate wrote an application directing that an FIR be registered at the Bidupur Police Station in Hajipur, and the police have begun investigating the entire matter.
It has also been reported that a case has been registered for assaulting the CRPF personnel and attempting to snatch their weapons.
