Manthan 2025- Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM) President Upendra Kushwaha on Friday attended News 24’s event ‘Manthan 2025’. In a detailed conversation with Editor Raman Kumar, Kushwaha spoke extensively on the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections and current political atmosphere in the state.
Kushwaha admitted that while people do have complaints against the Nitish Kumar-led government on several issues, there is no anger among them. He stated that there is no resentment against the NDA, but people do have concerns about the RJD in Bihar. When asked about how many seats his party is demanding, Kushwaha declined to answer, stating that this was not the right platform to discuss seat-sharing.

RLM chief further emphasised on Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s support in his life, stating, “if Nitish Kumar ji had not supported us, we wouldn't have reached this point today.” He added that Bihar election will be fought only between NDA and India alliance.
Kushwaha said that the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) is not an issue in Bihar and also claimed that the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) is certain to face defeat in the upcoming assembly elections and added that “there is fear among people regarding the RJD.”
