Manthan 2025- Prashant Kishor takes aim at Samrat Chaudhary, says 28 per cent in Bihar want an alternative

News24 Manthan 2025- News 24’s annual conclave Manthan 2025 began on Friday, October 3, with the stage set for a face-off among Bihar’s top political leaders. The event kicked off with Jan Suraaj Party Chief Prashant Kishor as the first guest. In a detailed conversation with Executive Editor Rajeev Ranjan, Kishor discussed his party’s stance, the allegations against it, Bihar’s political atmosphere, and the upcoming Bihar Assembly Elections.

Kishor asserted that 28 percent of people in Bihar want change and are looking for an alternative to both the RJD and the JDU. He denied having any personal animosity toward opposition leaders, stating that he is only trying to improve Bihar. Kishor also accepted the label of Jan Suraaj being a vote-cutter party and claimed that the party will emerge victorious in the Bihar Assembly Elections.

“Yes, we are a vote-cutter party,” he said, adding “and we will cut so many votes from both the RJD and the JDU that they will be left stunned.”

Kishor hits out at Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary

Speaking further, Kishor took a dig at Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister and BJP leader Samrat Chaudhary, stating that he has not even passed the 10th grade. He highlighted that when he (Chaudhary) is asked about this, he refuses to answer. Kishor also mentioned that there are several criminal cases registered against him and the NDA members are trembling with fear.
