They claim that none of the people were hurt during the incident.

Bihar Police Detained 10 People

A police official stated that TEN people were detained and there is an operation going on for the search of more accused in the case.

SP Abhinav Dhiman, who reached the spot, said they had received a call around 7:30 pm that some houses were burning at Manjhi Tola. They reached the spot quickly along with police and fire-tenders but took some time to douse the flames. The villagers said that these people started burning the houses around 7 pm.

He said, ‘From the preliminary investigation, it seems a land dispute was the reason behind this incident.’ It has been filed, and the investigation is going on.

Another cop revealed that some shots were fired in the air when the houses were already up in flames.

Dhiman said that the situation has, however, been brought under control and a good number of police officers have been deployed in that area to ensure that no further incidents happen.
