To make travel easier for devotees planning to visit Khatu Shyam Temple on the New Year 2026, Indian Railways has announced a special train service between Kurukshetra and Phulera.
This train will operate for four days to manage the expected rush of pilgrims.
Special Train from Kurukshetra to Phulera
According to railway officials, the special train will depart from Kurukshetra to Phulera on December 29, 30, 31, and January 1.
On the return journey, the train will run from Phulera to Kurukshetra on December 30, 31, January 1, and January 2.
Kurukshetra to Phulera Train Timings
According to the timetable, the train will depart from Kurukshetra at 11:30 pm and arrive at Phulera around 8:30 am the following morning. On the return route, the train will depart from Phulera at 9:50 a.m. and arrive in Kurukshetra around 8 p.m.

During its journey, the special train will stop at several important stations.
These include Kalanaur, Kaithal, Narwana, Jind, Rohtak, Bawal, Rewari, Kund, Neemrana, Neemka, Dabla, Narnaul, and Kanwat before reaching Phulera.
The railway has clarified that this will be an unreserved train, allowing passengers to travel using a general ticket. This decision will help devotees travel comfortably without prior seat reservations.
Relief for Khatu Shyam Devotees
The operation of this special train will provide direct and convenient travel to thousands of Shyam devotees from Kurukshetra and nearby districts, especially during the New Year celebrations.
Passengers are advised to reach the station on time and follow railway guidelines for a smooth journey.
