Vinod Jagdale, New Delhi: The Maharashtra government is all set to go proceed with the second cabinet expansion. The Shinde-Fadnavis government is scheduled to proceed with the cabinet expansion in the month of October.
According to sources, 2 former Congress ministers can also take oath in the new cabinet. Out of these two, one of the minister has also served as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra.

Some Congress MLAs may leave the party and go to BJP
In the Legislative Council elections, 7 Congress MLAs had voted for the BJP. This was the reason which resulted in the defeat of the Congress candidate Chandrakant Handore.
Congress MLAs were absent from the house
As the floor test was underway in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Congress MLAs remained absent. During the floor test of Shinde government, 10 Congress MLAs were absent from the house.
