New Delhi: Manik Saha Monday selected as legislative party leader in Tripura. He will take oath as Chief Minister for second time on March 8.

The state Assembly election in Tripura (2023) was not that easy for the incumbent Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) government as they were in a triangular contest with the alliance of the Left-congress alliance and a new political party of former Tripura’s Royals Tripura Matha.

However, BJP managed to win 33 seats out of 60 total constituencies.
