New Delhi: As per the police 2 bags of live cartridges were recovered in Delhi ahead of Independence Day. Quantity of the cartridges is being said to be 2000. 6 people have been arrested so far.
The timing of this recovery is concerning. Delhi Police, Intelligence Bureau and other agencies are already on high alert ahead of the Independence Day.
The police is now investigating the purpose of these cartridges. They are also looking for the destination so as to where these 2000 live cartridges were headed to.
The 6 accused who have been arrested along with the cartridges are now being investigated by the Delhi Police. The recovery was made from the Anand Vihar area of New Delhi.
The Delhi Police is already on its toes and is keeping a strict vigil on the movement in an out of the national capital. It is also a routine to heighten the security ahead of the Independence Day on 15th August and also ahead of the Republic Day on 26th January every year.
