New Delhi: 14 people have died by drowning during the Ganpati Visarjan. One lady died when a tree fell down and she was trapped beneath it. The incident occurred during the aarti at the time of immersion of the Ganesha idols as the nation celebrated the Ganesh Chaturdashi.

11 people also underwent injury due to an electric shock. The incident occurred when the processions were in the final stage of idol immersion. The information was given by the Mharashtra Police.
