Bhopal: School Teacher Raped 3-Year-Old; Mother Checks Her Body, Gets Shocked

A recent incident of rape of a 3-year-old in Bhopal has jolted the entire city. She was allegedly raped by her school teacher and couldn't even walk properly.

Bhopal: In a shocking incident, an IT teacher working at a private school in Bhopal has allegedly raped a 3-year-old girl. The incident took place on September 16 and came into cognizance after the mother of the little girl reached the nearby Kamala Nagar police station and filed a complaint against the teacher and the school management.

School turned a deaf ear

As per the reports, the mother of the victim stated in her complaint that she initially went to the school management after seeing her bruised daughter and mentioned the name of the teacher to the management which turned a deaf ear in response.

The child was unable to walk

On September 16, after the girl returned home from school, she wasn’t comfortable and was hinting at the soreness on her body. She wasn’t able to walk properly. When the mother checked her toddler’s body, she found bruises and scars on her private parts and was jolted by the incident. Without thinking twice, she reached out to her child’s school to question the safety concerns and to file a complaint. She even mentioned the name of the teacher that the little girl supposedly mentioned but the school management turned a deaf ear to it and took no cognizance of the matter.

Police initiated the action

The woman then reached the Kamala Nagar police station. Upon hearing her complaint, the police rushed to the school, investigated the matter and recorded statements of the staff. Thereafter they detained the IT teacher for further investigation. An FIR has been lodged under the POCSO Act and the probe is underway. The victim is under medication.

The state has witnessed frequent rape cases recently which have raised questions over the safety and security of females. In a recent incident in Ujjain, a woman was raped in broad daylight on the footpath and the passers-by remained silent spectators. Some even recorded that incident and circulated across social media.
