Bhopal: In a shocking incident, a man was allegedly killed by his two brothers on November 9 following a dispute over bringing chicken home in Bhopal. The incident reportedly occurred in Indira Nagar near the Bairagarh area. The event, however, took a dark turn after their mother tried to hide the murder weapon – a rope.
The victim identified as a 22-year-old, reportedly had a heated argument with his elder brother Kuldeep & younger brother Aman. According to Authorities, the three brothers were under the influence of Alcohol when the victim insisted on bringing chicken. However, Kuldeep and Aman objected to bringing non-vegetarian food into the home. In a fit of rage, the two brothers strangled the victim with a rope.

Following the tragic killing, Kuldeep, Aman, and their mother immediately rushed the victim to the hospital. They claimed he had lost consciousness after returning home. Suspicions arose after Police noticed rope marks on the victim’s neck.
Upon interrogation, it was found that she tried to mislead the investigators and protect her sons by concealing the murder weapon.
“The argument about non-veg food escalated to the point where Kuldeep and Aman killed their brother in a drunken state. The mother has also been made an accused for attempting to hide the crime,” NDTV quoted Bairagarh PS In-charge Kamaljeet Randhawa as saying.
The three brothers from Kheri in Vidisha district worked at a shop in Bairagarh. The two brothers have been arrested and a case has been registered against all three for hiding evidence and culpable homicide.
