Why This Seat Matters
The Chhapra constituency has been a BJP stronghold for the past 15 years. Dr. C.N. Gupta won the seat in 2020, and the party also secured victories in 2015 and 2010. Before this, the seat was held at different times by independent candidates and the RJD. Because of this long-standing dominance, the seat holds special significance for the BJP.
A victory for Chhoti Kumari would strengthen the party’s position and shape its future strategy—especially following her notable win over Khesari.
