New Delhi: The Congress-led Bharat Jodo Yatra on Friday has marked 100th day since it started from Kanyakumaru in Tamil Nadu on September 7 under the leadership of party’s former chief Rahul Gandhi.

The Congress party will celebrate the completion of 100 days in Rajasthan’s Jaipur with a grand concert. The ‘Yatra’ is currently in Rajasthan which on Friday resumed from Meena High Court.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi led the yatra through Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and now, Rajasthan. During this journery, the footmarch has covered almost 2,800 kms, interacting with locals, farmers, activists, actors and lawmakers.

“Bharat Jodo Yatra’s biggest achievement is that issues of the common people of the country have been highlighted through it,” the news agency PTI quoted Congress leader KC Venugopal.

He further said, “TheBharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) attempt of demolishing his (Gandhi’s) image has also been destroyed by us.”
