New Delhi: The Bharat Jodo Yatra on Tuesday has resumed from Kashmiri Gate in Delhi after a flag hoisting session. The yatra will enter Uttar Pradesh today. Senior Congress leaders like Priyanka Gandhi is also expected to join today when the 'yatra' will enter Uttar Pradesh. In the latest, Acharya Satyendra Das, chief priest of Ram Janmabhoomi has also extended his support to Rahul Gandhi's 'Bharat Jodo Yatra'. However, he said he could not attend the foot march owing to his bad health. "Some Congress leaders asked me to join Bharat Jodo Yatra but due to health issues, I couldn't join. After which they asked me to extend wishes for Bharat Jodo Yatra so I wrote a letter to Rahul Gandhi and wished him success," said Acharya Satyendra Das.

Ab Nahi To Kab

A day ealier, the Congress has released an anthem for its mass outreach programme ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ which includes many instances from the foot march during its journey so far. Kanyakumari To Kashmir

The Bharat Jodo Yatra started on September 7 last year from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu which will end in Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir. Beside Tamil Nadu, the yatra has covered several states including Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana and Madhya Pradesh. On January 3, the Congress’ footmarch will resume after a 9-day long break in Delhi. On Tuesday, the yatra will start in Uttar Pradesh.
