New Delhi: Former Special Director of the Indian Intelligence Bureau & former Secretary of Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) A.S. Dulat on Tuesday joined the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’  and walked alongside Senior party leader Rahul Gandhi.  

“Former Special Director of the Indian Intelligence Bureau & former Secretary of Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) Shri A.S. Dulat joins Shri Rahul Gandhi during the Bharat Jodo Yatra. A.S. Dulat also served as an advisor on Jammu and Kashmir in the Vajpayee government after his retirement.”

The Bharat Jodo Yatra on Tuesday has resumed from Kashmiri Gate in Delhi after a flag hoisting session. The yatra will enter Uttar Pradesh today.

 Senior Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Tuesday said that she does not fear about his brother and party’s former chief Rahul Gandhi’s securtiy because he is wearing a “shield of truth”.

Addressing people in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad, Vadra said that people ask her if she is not concerned over Rahul Gandhi’s security who is travelling through Punjab and Srinagar. To which, she replied that her brother has truth as his sheild.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra congratulated Congress workers and everyone who joined ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ throughout the nation for covering 3,000 kms so far.

Kanyakumari To Kashmir 

The Bharat Jodo Yatra started on September 7 last year from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu which will end in Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir. Beside Tamil Nadu, the yatra has covered several states including Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana and Madhya Pradesh.

On January 3, the Congress’ footmarch will resume after a 9-day long break in Delhi. On Tuesday, the yatra will start in Uttar Pradesh.
