New Delhi: The Bharat Jodo Yatra on Tuesday will enter Punjab state through Fatehgarh Sahib, ending its Harayna leg. During the roadshow, former UP Congress chief and actor Raj Babbar also joined Rahul Gandhi.

 

The Yatra returned to Haryana on December 5 after finishing its leg in Uttar Pradesh.

On the last day of the UP leg, thousands of people were spotted embracing the Bharat Jodo Yatra in the Shamli area of Uttar Pradesh.

Rahul Gandhi, a former president of the Congress, has been in charge of the Bharat Jodo Yatra since it began last year in Kanyakumari.

The Yatra began at Ailum in the Shamli district and entered Uttar Pradesh on January 3.

Thousands of supporters were spotted lining the streets in support of Rahul Gandhi during the Yatra. The yatra travelled around 15 kilometres before arriving in Unchagaon.

Bharat Jodo Yatra 112 day on: In the second part, it advanced from Unchagaon and into Haryana via Kairana. Rahul Gandhi was meeting and conversing with tens of thousands of people along the way. On the side of the road, thousands of people were gathered.

In addition to them, RLD leaders and supporters flocked together in big groups while carrying the party flag to welcome and support the yatra. In addition to this, numerous more small and significant regional parties supported the yatra by taking part.

Farmers of sugarcane who took part in the Yatra brought their harvest with them. In addition to these, some farmer groups might be seen driving tractors.

Ritu Singh Puri, an actress, was among the famous people who joined the yatra today.

Rahul Gandhi participated in two talks that were held during the yatra’s lunch break. The Social Justice Dialogue was the inaugural dialogue, and Dalits and leaders of various backward castes took part in it.

Caste censuses and increasing OBC reservation were discussed in this conversation.

The yatra, which returned to Haryana on Thursday, will traverse the state’s four districts between January 5 and January 10.

On January 5 evening, the yatra crossed into Haryana from Uttar Pradesh in Sanauli Khurd hamlet in the Panipat district, where the participants stopped for dinner.
