Several emotional moments occurred during the yatra. A video of a girl ecstatic about meeting the Congress leader went viral on Wednesday as well. They were spotted smiling as she shed tears of delight after being allowed to march alongside the Congress leader.
The following video was tweeted by the Congress-run Bharat Jodo handle: “No caption is required. There is just love.”
A similar scenario occurred earlier this year when Gandhi was introduced to the Korean pop, or K-pop, and global hit BTS by a group of schoolgirls in Kerala.
The 3,570-kilometer voyage, which begins on September 8 in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu, is slated to end in Jammu and Kashmir.
