Here’s How Netizens Reacted

His post has garnered massive views of almost 530.1K views and engaged netizens in a discussion pertaining to disparity in workplace culture and holiday policies between western and Indian companies. Only India and some Asian countries follow the client first attitude and work 24×7 and 365 days work strategy.”

A user commented, “Meri bhi US based company hai but hr Indian hai.” Another user added that one needs such holiday policies in India. He wrote, “In India we need such long holidays…2 days are not sufficient for Diwali.”

Some users highlighted holiday policy in Indian companies indirectly by adding comments like, “Come to India, they will ask you to work even on Diwali, Holi, Christmas, Eid …..the list is long”, “Bhai shayad tujhe naukari se nikal diya hoga.. utna lamba chutti thodi na hota h.. jhuth bol rhe h yeh log . Confirm kar le baki logo se.. 16 din kaam kaise hoga.. company kaise chalega” and “India me to Diwali pr v ek din ki chutti milti hai.”
