The Mangalore Municipal Corporation has announced a planned suspension of water services in several areas of Mangalore from April 30 to May 1 due to the Bengaluru water crisis.

The official notice from the Mangalore Municipal Corporation stated that the water supply disruption will commence at 6:00 AM on April 30 and continue until 6:00 AM on May 1, affecting various neighborhoods across the city.
Impact Of Bengaluru water crisis on Mangalore
The Mangalore Municipal Corporation announced that the water supply disruption is due to essential maintenance work on the piping infrastructure connecting the Rechaka plant to Mangaluru city. The MMC emphasized that the maintenance is crucial for optimizing the water supply system within the city corporation.
The water supply disruption will affect areas such as Padil, Maroli, Kankanady, Mangaladevi, Jeppu, Falnir, Mulihitlu, Bolar, Car Street, Mannagudda, Pandeshwar, State Bank, Shaktinagar, Bajal, Jeppinamogaru, Kannur, Alape, Attavar, Ullas Nagar, Chilimbi, Kodikal, Urvastore, Ashokanagar, Kudupu, Vamanjoor, Bondel, Kavoor, and Marakada.
